Shirley Nicol, Clinical Director
Shirley was born in Glasgow and is a graduate of Stirling University where she completed her BSc in dermatology and non-medical prescribing. Her journey led her into medical aesthetics, training to an advanced level of practice. She is director and Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner in Clinica Medica in Glasgow where she currently practises, providing a service that is totally patient/client centred.
Having dedicated 35 years of her life to healthcare in both senior clinical and commercial roles, she recognises the need to deliver safe and effective treatments to her clients and patients. She ensures she is kept updated with innovative techniques using evidenced based treatments and products that are synergistic with the growing demands and expectations of her clients.
Shirley, recognising the need in the aesthetics industry for evidence based products and is proud to represent Beaute Pacifique in the UK – a highly effective Danish cosmeceutical brand developed by dermatologists.
With extensive knowledge and a range of face and body products to choose from, she is on hand to offer clinical support to any customer, who wishes advice to achieve healthy and rejuvenated skin,
Shirley’s passion is to raise the standards within this industry; she is the Scottish representative for the Private Independent Aesthetic Pracitices Association (PIAPA), a group which provides professional support for nurses working in the industry and promotes clinical excellence.
